Construction Store Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Construction Store Supervisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management of our construction supplies and materials, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

- Oversee daily operations of the construction store, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient inventory management.
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials and negotiate pricing, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, deliveries, and orders to facilitate seamless operations.
- Supervise and train store staff, fostering a productive and safety-conscious work environment.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in the store to ensure compliance and minimise risks.
- Collaborate with project managers to anticipate material needs and streamline supply chain processes.

Essential Requirements:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a construction or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and suppliers.
