Our International Insurance client is looking for a Claims Team Leader to manage a team 


  • Handles claims management, client claims relationship management
  • Assisting in staff development, management of(re)insurance recoveries
  • Ensure a high level of customer service delivery and satisfaction in servicing claims
  • Review FNOL against relevant policy schedule, activates claims numbers in system and 
  • Escalates to management of any unusual cases
  • Establish and maintain accurate ultimate loss case reserves
  •  Reviewing and dealing with claims submission and determining coverage issues
  • Actively managing any large losses to improve competitive margins
  • Exercise robust cost control measures in line with delegated authorities and internal audit
  • protocols
  •  Preparation of claim File Notes, Large Loss Notifications, discharge & subrogation Forms
  • Implement claim strategies for each line of business 
  • Appoint external expertise
  • Identify potential recovery at the outset of claims and sending holding letters to identified negligent parties.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Senior management or the Core team.
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in handling commercial claims and a managerial role
  • Strong leadership skills - Ability to solve problems and make decisions
  • Good understanding of policy coverage, determining liability, and investigating claims
Education & Experience
  • Ideally CII certified
