Non Executive Director

Our Client a startup company here in Malta, established within the Fintech Industry are assembling a diverse, global team of passionate problem-solvers dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for their merchants and partners. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Non-Executive Director based in Malta to join us part-time and help drive our strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead board meetings and ensure effective governance in line with Maltese regulations
• Provide insights on navigating Maltese regulatory requirements, including licensing and compliance
• Work with the management team to set and review strategic objectives, aligning them with overall business goals
• Offer constructive feedback and support to the executive team on key decisions and initiatives
• Use your connections in the Maltese financial services industry to introduce potential customers, partners, and investors of the business 
• Fulfill fiduciary and legal responsibilities as a company director, maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance

• Over 8 years in the financial services sector. Candidates already holding or have held NED positions would be given preference
• Deep understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices within the Maltese regulatory framework
• Strong knowledge of financial management, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements
• A Maltese citizen based and residing in Malta
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Minimum tertiary level of education
