A highly reputable client of ours specialising in the Financial and Corporate sector, is looking to onboard a Senior Client Relationship Manager / Director to join their team of professionals:
Duties
Advise clients on all the Group offerings, such as, family office services, corporate and fund services, corporate and trust structuring, tax and estate planning, investment management, etc.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments/business divisions of the Group to effectively manage the clients’ affairs, including compliance, legal, trust, accounting, investments, treasury & banking, philanthropy and property, to effectively manage the clients’ affairs
Support the business development/marketing efforts of the Group, including acting as jurisdictional subject matter expert
Undertake business development/marketing activities to acquire new clients through own network or which have been referred to the Group through its networks/contacts
Take responsibility for the clients’ operations ensuring that all transactions pertaining to the management of the clients’ affairs are executed timely, efficiently and accounted for correctly, and ensuring that operational risk matters are identified and addressed promptly
Oversee and/or provide full administrative support to Group Operations on allocated clients, including but not limited to the preparation of banking, investment, formation, termination forms, etc.
Arrange for and coordinate the incorporation, management and termination of Trusts and Companies, including reviewing minutes, resolutions, and legal agreements
Assist and support the FO team on day-to-day operational running of large clients of the Group
Develop a complete understanding of all procedural and compliance issues relating to services performed and the Group's internal processes
Continuous coaching and mentoring of staff
Act as Director and/or Company Secretary for client entities
Act as a Director of the Group's entity(ies) in Malta
Such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require, including those relating to internal business operational responsibilities
Requirements
A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience within a regulated financial services environment
An established and current network of industry contacts and/or experience of being actively involved in industry bodies will be considered an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability and maturity to deal effectively with all levels of staff and management within the Group, third party professionals as well as very demanding clients
Risk oriented mind-set, sharp analytical mind, good numeracy skills and a strong commercial awareness
Understands the Family Office Business Model and is able to explain it to external persons
Must have excllent verbal and wrtitten communication skills in English. Fluency in German, French and/or Italian will be considered a plus
Education and Experience
Educated to degree level (Master’s degree in Finance, Chartered Accountant, Legal or equivalent)
Relevant knowledge of Maltese law (company and trust law)
