KYC and Personal Assistant

An International Financial Services company is currently setting up their operations in Malta and they are looking for a KYC and Personal Assistant to join their team. 

Duties include: 

• Conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence on new and existing clients.
• Verify customer identification documents and ensure information is accurate and complete.
• Perform risk assessments and identify potential risks related to client profiles.
• Maintain and update client records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
• Monitor and report suspicious activities in accordance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in KYC regulations and implement necessary changes to internal processes.
• Provide administrative support to the executive team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Assist with personal tasks and errands as needed.
• Organize and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
• Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned by the executive team.

• Minimum of 2 years of local experience in a similar role
• Able to work independently and have good time management skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

• Diploma in Compliance or related field
