Ceek - Recruitment Solutions in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Head of Transfer Agency to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

What is expected of you?

• Leading a client-focused Transfer Agency team to enhance both internal and external client experience and satisfaction
• Ensuring necessary controls are in place and adhered to, while identifying and implementing control and process improvements to deliver accurate, timely transfer agency services to fund clients
• Ensuring fund client and investor files comply with AML/CFT regulations
• Overseeing the processing of fund investors' subscriptions and redemptions to ensure high accuracy and timeliness
• Maintaining the investor shareholder registers for various administered funds
• Providing periodic reporting of shareholder trading activity to fund clients
• Implementing FATCA and CRS programs to ensure client funds' compliance with regulatory requirements
• Reviewing, managing, and liaising with auditors for client fund audits
• Assisting with the onboarding of new fund clients
• Monitoring operational risk across the business and helping to enhance the existing operational risk framework
• Staying updated on regulatory and internal risk developments that impact the business, ensuring operational teams are equipped with the necessary knowledge and systems to handle updates
• Managing the oversight of any internally outsourced functions
• Ensuring all client queries are resolved promptly
• Reviewing, understanding, and discussing fund governing documents with both the team and clients
• Ensuring the control framework and documented Transfer Agency procedures and policies comply with local and global regulations.

What are you expected to bring?

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Compliance and/or AML is considered an asset
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a transfer agency and/or AML role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial position
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
• Takes initiative and can work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent administrative and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
• Demonstrates the ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; experience with PFS-Paxus is considered an asset
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
