Corporate & Ship Registration Officer

Our client, a well-established company within the shipping industry, is looking to recruit a Corporate and Ship Registration Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks relating to both corporate and ship registration, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining efficient processes.

Duties include: 

• Assist with customer requirements and provide support in relation to ship registration
• processes.
• Compile and prepare the necessary documentation for ship registration and other related services.
• Ensure the accurate and timely registration of vessels with relevant maritime authorities.
• Maintain and update ship registration records and documentation in compliance with applicable maritime laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure smooth registration and compliance procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of regulatory submissions related to ship registration.
• Support the ongoing compliance process by ensuring timely renewals and updates to ship registration statuses.
• Manage communication with ship owners, operators, and relevant maritime authorities regarding registration matters.
• Collate and verify customer due diligence documentation.
•  Regularly update and maintain customer due diligence records on the relevant platforms.
• Ensure the screening of customers is conducted and adequately monitored, with ongoing reviews as required.
• Coordinate the collection and submission of certificates issued by or to relevant authorities.
• Compile costs and bills and maintain detailed client service files for accurate record-keeping.
• Assist in any other tasks related to customer service, corporate compliance, and ship registration as needed.

• Experience in corporate services and ship registration is required
• n understanding of corporate services, commercial and basic shipping knowledge would be an asset
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Highly organized
