A top-tier client of ours specialising in Financial and Corporate Services is currently looking to onboard a Corporate Executive (Funds), to join their team of professionals:
Handling statutory filings of the client database, including liaising with officials from the MFSA, MBR and other government departments as necessary
Being the clients’ main contact for matters arising on a day-to-day basis
Preparing for and attending quarterly board meetings, annual general meetings and extraordinary general meetings
Performing all aspects of company administration
Preparing documents in relation to transactions, including minutes and resolutions
Maintaining company records, including due diligence, whilst ensuring physical files and database master files are maintained in a correct manner
Would be required to work with regulated licensed entities and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of collective investment schemes
Any other duties that may arise from time to time due to the exigencies of the operation
Skill-sets and Requirements
A thorough understanding of the company secretary role, including statutory record keeping and the compliance obligations impacting the administration area
Knowledge of the different types of local fund structures will be considered a strong asset
Must have excellent communication skills in English ( both written and verbal), including minute taking skills
A “can-do” attitude, and the ability to establish positive relationships with clients and work colleagues
Education & Experience
Would ideally be in possession of a Finance or relevant qualifications
