Corporate and Trust Executive

Our client in the Corporate Services Industry is looking to recruit a Corporate and Trust Executive to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

Corporate Services:

• Ensuring client companies are following Maltese regulations, the Companies Act and keeping up to date with corporate documents and statutory records
• Supporting with the incorporate of Maltese companies and administration in terms of filling annual returns and registers
• Managing a portfolio of corporate clients, supporting and being their main point of contact for company secretarial services 
• Preparing agendas and drafting minutes for board meetings
• Assisting in the Annual General Meetings and Extraordinary General Meetings 
• Communicating closely with regulatory authorities
• Handling the due diligence and KYC processes and AML regulations 
• Assisting in corporate transactions which include merges, acquisitions and restructuring

Trust Administration:

• Supporting with the establishment, administration and handling of trust structures which include trust deeds and ancillary documentations 
• Handling fiduciary duties 
• Acting as the main point of contact for all trust clients
• Ensuring trust structures comply with Maltese regulations 
• Asset management and record keeping 

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Services, trust management, law firm or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Maltese Corporate Law

• A professional qualification in Trust and Estate Planning or IFSP certificate in Trust Law and Management

• Hybrid after probation
