Trumia is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Sales Manager and will play a key role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and fostering long-term relationships with clients. The opportunity to join the team at this stage in the Institutions’ journey provides for an exciting and rewarding experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, working closely with the Senior Sales Manager and the wider sales team to ensure the successful conversion of leads into clients.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business growth.
  • Assist in implementing effective business development strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including client acquisition, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and partners.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients. Understand their needs and requirements, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions.
  • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers, partners and industry stakeholders to achieve desired brand growth and sustainable revenue generation.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Support the Senior Sales Manager with marketing efforts to penetrate key markets.
  • Ensure that all business development activities adhere to regulatory standards set by the MFSA and other relevant authorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Experience within the financial services or fintech industry will be considered asset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
