Senior Due Diligence Executive

Our client, is looking to recruit a Senior Due Diligence Executive to join their growing team. The chosen candidate would be responsible for overseeing the team and supporting in the day to day. 

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing, coordinating and providing daily support for the Due Diligence Team in terms of onboarding, ongoing due diligence reviews 
• Conducting due diligence process on new clients 
• Ensuring the source of wealth and source of funds reviews are done in a timely manner
• Ensure all screening and searches are conducted accurately 
• Handling the compiling, review and sign off the due diligence memoranda 
• Lead the ongoing monitoring of existing clients 
• Presenting due diligence findings and recommendations to internal committees 
• Providing ongoing coaching to the team 
• Being the right hand of the Manager 

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in Due Diligence, AML/CFT, Compliance related roles locally
• In depth understanding of Fit & Proper assessments, adverse media, list screening and related analysis
• Candidates who have previously led a team would be given priority
• Excellent verbal written English and Maltese

Education and Experience

• A Degree level of education in Law, Finance, Business Administration or related
