Our client, in the Financial and Investment Services Industry, is looking to employ a Risk Officer to join their team with the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Maintain the Risk Management Plans
Assist with assessing clients and the exposure of the respective Portfolio to market, liquidity, credit, counterparty and operational risk and monitor them with the applicable risk limits
Follow the effective risk management policies and procedures to identify, measure, manage and monitor all risks relevant to each Client/SICAV
Ensure that all the risk profiles is consistent with the Risk Guidelines
Assist in the Quarterly reports
Ensure compliance with applicable risk and liquidity guidelines/limits is always consistent
Assist in Scenario Analysis and Stress Testing
Assist in Liquidity Stress Testing
Assist in carrying out valuations of private equity investments and private placements
Any additional ad hoc duties as required
Skill-sets and Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
Well organised and able to work under pressure
Eager to grow within the company
Relevant work experience
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent in a related field
