Care Worker

Job Description
Conservatorio Vincenzo Bugeja Homes in Malta is looking to recruit Care Workers to join their team on a part-time basis. 

CVB Homes are seeking the services of mature, honest and highly motivated individuals to join their dynamic team working with adolescent females with challenging behaviour. 

Job Role: 
The role is to assist in the smooth running of the service and the care of the residents. Care workers will be entrusted with the safety and welfare of the residents and will form part of a team to implement the individual programme of each resident. 

Requirements: 

• Certification in Care Work, ideally related to children/adolescents;
• Valid Driving Licence B;
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the sector. 

Conservatorio Vincenzo Bugeja Homes:
Conservatorio Vincenzo Bugeja is made up of two residential homes: Fejda and Jeanne Antide. The service is presently catering to 22 residents between the ages of 11 and 18 years. Our aim for the residents who are given care at the Homes is to help them regain their dignity by giving them the basic safety needs in order to help them unlearn previous coping skills and learn to function better in life through the therapeutic relationships formed in a caring environment. We strive to help the residents build positive esteem for themselves to believe that they deserve a dignified life and ultimately achieve a state of self-actualization.
