Business Manager

Job Description
Lufthansa Technik Malta is looking to recruit a Business Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Tasks:
Your responsibilities and duties may include the following:

• Lead an interdisciplinary offer team (approx. 15 people). Ensure communication within the team and take full ownership of the internal part of the offer process considering all relevant internal as well as external information/interfaces.
• Evaluate customer requests technically and commercially considering all relevant information/interfaces with special attention to customer-, market-, strategic, and profit optimization aspects. Take Bid/No-bid decisions and take full accountability for them.
• On-demand – participate in customer negotiations with Sales/KAM – support on-site if necessary.
• Special tasks: participate in/lead projects, and other tasks as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:
The ideal Business Manager must fulfill the following requirements:

• A high school certificate, A level/ Abitur or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree or University degree in business admin/economics or aviation engineering required.
• Master's degree desirable.
• At least 5 to 7 years of professional experience in sales, key account management, and project or team management.
• The English language is required.
• German and other/local languages are desirable.
• Fluent in at least 2 major languages of the region & excellent intercultural skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the LHT processes & procedures.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent negotiation skills.

• Excellent ability to work under pressure.
