APCOPAY in Malta is currently seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis.
Based in Malta and reporting to the Head of Business Development, the candidate will be responsible for approaching new and existing clients and following up on business leads. The BDM’s primary focus is to offer various payment options to merchants in line with their business needs.
Duties include: explaining and selling multiple online payment solutions to clients, understanding the different business needs of each client based on their target market, maintaining strong business relationships with key stakeholders, attending industry events and conferences to generate new business as well as liaising with the Merchant Services team to deliver favourable outcomes during the onboarding process.
The selected candidate needs to be a seasoned networker, who can work on their initiative in line with rewarding targets. The ideal candidate should possess previous experience within payments, banking and/or the iGaming industry, be able to interact well with internal and external stakeholders whilst having a strong knowledge and keen interest in online payment trends. Fluency in English is a must and knowledge of other languages would be considered an asset.
