Relationship Officer

Our Client an International bank that has been operating in Malta for several years is seeking to recruit a Relationship Officer to join their team. The appointed individual will be performing the below duties;

• Servicing a portfolio of corporate clients and participating in customer calls and meetings;
• The preparation of credit applications proposals
• Analyzing financial documentation including accounts, business projections and plans for lending in addition to presenting sound recommendations;
• Following leads and supporting conversion efforts;
• Providing excellent service to bank clients, attending diligently and in a timely manner to their requests;
• To meet annual targets set in terms of growth in the lending portfolio;
• Supporting in the direction and consistent execution of the Bank’s goals and strategies.​

• A good knowledge of regulations surrounding KYC and customer due diligence. Conduct due diligence on new and existing customers and ongoing transaction monitoring;
• Fluenct in Maltese and English
• A minimum of 3 years of similar work experience, especially in corporate banking and/or project finance

• Hold a diploma or degree in Banking & Finance or Business Management.
