You will be mainly responsible for compiling financial and regulatory reports, with excellent exposure to a diverse team of highly skilled professionals.
The selected candidate should be willing to relocate to the specified job location.
Duties and responsibilities
• Producing monthly financial reports for management and regulatory authorities to support decision making and reporting
• Taking an active role in data analysis and interpretation in relation to the bank's capital adequacy and liquidity position
• Participating in relevant projects, systems implementation and enhancements
• Automating processes to streamline regulatory reporting production
• Implementing changes in regulatory requirements in liaison with the project teams
• Performing rigorous data validation and testing to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Improving the quality of the financial information available and reporting by the team to the stakeholders
• Collaborating with IT and data management teams to optimize data workflows and resolve data quality issues
• Assisting with queries from regulatory authorities and external auditors
• Building and developing effective working relationship with staff within various business units and other colleagues in Malta, Belgium, Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Turkey
Required knowledge, skills and experience
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Accounting qualification or banking/financial services working experience will be considered an asset
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Team player with effective communication skills, both written and verbal
