Our client, within the Banking industry is looking for a Credit Administration Manager to join their team:
Manages, monitors, controls, reviews and services a portfolio of accounts domiciled at the Credit Administration Unit (CAU) under their responsibility in an assertive manner, follow reduction in liabilities, devise and follow up action plans, aimed at regularizing the outstanding items on the accounts and placing same on a proper footing.
Monitors the activities of the problematic customers by keeping regular contact, visiting their place of business and ensuring that their operations are geared towards an improvement in the account performance or reduction in their exposure with the Bank.
Keeps detailed records of action taken in the course of business.
Executes and handles all the back-office transactions pertaining to clients domiciled at the CAU.
Negotiates with customers and their professional advisors as may be required
Actively interfaces with the Senior Credit Risk Manager to ensure effective management of the problematic accounts with the aim of achieving an improvement in the risk profile of the facilities and/or minimize losses to the Bank.
Periodically reviews the Bank’s internal controls and procedures and reports any deficiencies and/or recommends any areas for improvement to the Senior Credit Risk Manager.
Skill-sets and Requirements
A minimum of 3 years local experience in managing a portfolio of commercial customers within a Bank
Fluent written and spoken English
Excellent written, analytical and troubleshooting skills
Education & Experience
A Diploma in banking, finance, risk compliance or accounting is a must
