Banking Reporting Officer

Our client, a leading local bank is currently looking for Banking Reporting Officer within the Supervisory Reporting Department.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out data accumulation and reporting in relation to regulatory reporting framework;
• Compile periodic and ad-hoc regulatory returns and ensure that the returns are submitted for QA analysis and to the Regulators within the stipulated time;
• Validate the returns via XBRL and reconcile the relative returns with the Bank's General Ledger system;
• Compile notes and disclosures for purposes of the Bank's published Financial Statements;
• Assist the team with the analysis of the data to ensure high quality work before submitting to the Regulators;
• Assist the team and other departments with the regulatory interpretations and the application of the regulation into banking operations;
• Communicate changes to the team leaders and Project Management team for eventual IT changes;
• Handle queries arising from other departments within the bank
