Banking Officer

Our client, in the Banking Industry is looking for a Banking Officer to support their customers, and join their Factoring and Payments team. 

Responsibilities:

• Handling and processing the financing of customer invoices under factoring agreements 
• Processing payments 
• Handling dunning procedures
• Following up with Factoring customers with regard to repayment difficulties 
• Monitoring debtor insurance limits, including up-to-date debtor coverage information, and liaising with insurance providers  
• Managing and submitting debtor insurance claims 
• Monitoring utilisation of factoring facilities and debtor limits 
• Being the main point of contact for customers 
• Ensure documentation of all customer records is handled and up to date 
• Support in factoring related projects 
• Ensure full compliance with CSS and regulatory requirements 
• Attending training sessions 
• Supporting with day to day duties 

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years working in a similar role, ideally coming from the Banking industry locally
• Candidates with client services, credit operations or financial services would also be considered
• Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese

• A level standard of education
