Duties and responsibilities

  • Document Management: Collect, organize, and maintain mortgage application documents ensuring all paperwork is complete and up to date.
  • Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies by assisting in the preparation of compliance documentation.
  • Coordination: Liaise with various departments, to facilitate the mortgage approval process.
  • Client Management: Maintain ongoing communication with clients to provide updates and support throughout the home loan process.
  • Team Support: Provide administrative support to mortgage officers, including preparing correspondence and chasing past due repayments. Identify and suggest improvements to administrative processes to enhance efficiency and customer service

Required knowledge, skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within mortgage lending or financial services.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong customer service abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
