Pets Veterinary Clinic in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Veterinary Receptionist to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist on a full-time basis at our thriving veterinary clinic.
As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a genuine passion for animals.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter the clinic
- Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of our services and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to coordinate appointments and provide seamless support for day-to-day clinic operations
- Process client payments, issue invoices, and manage financial transactions with accuracy
- Oversee the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization to create a comfortable environment for clients and their pets
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a healthcare or veterinary setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including scheduling software and Microsoft Office
- Compassion for animals and an understanding of basic veterinary terminology is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
