Shipping Executive

AMSM is seeking to recruit a Shipping Executive to join our Shipping Department on a full-time basis.

Job Description

Negotiating competitive rates for freight and haulage services to facilitate the timely shipment of orders.

Preparing customs documentation and ensuring the prompt clearance and release of goods from customs.

Coordinating with the Warehouse and Distribution department, Product Control department, and Sales and Brand Managers, providing regular shipment updates by maintaining the ETA planner with supplier information.

Compiling required documentation and processing applications for import licenses.

Calculating accurate costings for all products received and recording them in the Company’s purchase ledger and inventory.

Your profile:

A-Level standard of education or similar qualification,

Minimum of 4-year experience within a similar role,

Good command of English and / or Maltese languages.

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Word and Excel,

Comprehensive shipping and logistics knowledge

Hands-on experience with shipping and distribution software will be considered an asset.
