Archdiocese Of Malta is looking to recruit a Pastoral Officer (Vicariate for Clergy and Parish Life) to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
The successful candidate, who will report to the Episcopal Vicar/Delegate for Work and Life in Parishes, will assist in different tasks and responsibilities undertaken by the Secretariat for Parish Life, as well as provide administrative support for the running of the Vicariate.
The ideal candidate must:
Be in possession of a recognized qualification in Theology or related areas at MQF Level 6;
Have previous experience (including that conducted on a voluntary basis) in parish ministry;
Have deep understanding and commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church, as well as insight into the Church’s teaching;
Be proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of WordPress systems would be considered an asset;
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Maltese and English; and
Be able to organize and lead meetings, work with and in a team, as well as work on his/her own initiative.
