Trainee Accountant

Job Description
DM Europe Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Trainee Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role:
The successful candidate will be trained (on the job) on how to prepare an accounts file, draft financial statements, prepare tax returns, etc, Job applicants need to have the motivation and the ability to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Posting of entries in the nominal ledger
• Preparation of an accounts file for review by the auditor
• Drafting of company financial statements
• Preparation of company tax return
• Preparation of VAT returns.

Requirements:

• The applicant should have 1 year's clerical/accounting work experience in Malta
• Knowledge of Excel
• Experience using an accounting program
• Preference will be given to persons who have completed 1 or more ACCA exams.
