Tax Specialist

AIMS International Malta is proud to partner with a well-established Business Advisory firm, renowned for its diverse operations across multiple industries. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Tax Specialist.

This role is focused on direct tax compliance for both individual and corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of individual and corporate income tax returns. 
• Assisting clients with tax refund applications, registrations, and share transfer documentation. 
• Handling correspondence with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration. 
• Liaising with the accounts and audit teams to ensure coordinated service delivery. 
• Ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and internal quality standards. 
• Staying informed on developments in Maltese tax legislation. 

Requirements:

• ACCA-qualified or in possession of a Master’s in Accountancy. 
• A minimum of two years’ experience in taxation. 
• MIT membership or equivalent tax certification will be considered an asset. 
• Nice to have:
• Good working knowledge of Maltese income tax law 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
