Tax Associate

Our client is seeking to recruit a Tax Associate to join the team. 

Duties include: 

• prepare and review corporate and personal income tax returns
• Assist with VAT returns, VAT registrations, and related compliance matters
• Support tax advisory assignments and client tax planning projects
• Conduct tax research and monitor updates to Maltese and international tax legislation
• Assist with tax due diligence and transaction support work
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance deadlines are met
• Support senior team members with client communications and reporting
• Participate in the preparation of tax computations and supporting schedules

Requirements

• Candidates must be ACCA qualified or partially qualified
• Experience in tax here in Malta is required
• Local experience is a must
• Knowledge of the Maltese tax system and VAT regulations
