The role involves all aspects of finance, from issuing invoices to the preparation of management and scheme accounts. You will provide a high level of support to meet the needs of our clients while ensuring adherence to regulatory deadlines.
Remuneration is competitive and dependent on experience and qualifications.
Typical Responsibilities:
• Monitoring bank accounts daily, inputting and updating financial records and data, and ensuring everything is accurate and up to date.
• Performing bank reconciliations, issuing invoices, handling received invoices, and processing payments.
• Liaising with investment houses and the Assets Under Management (AUM) reporting process, as well as downloading and organising reports and related data.
• Preparing quarterly and annual management accounts and scheme accounts, together with Central Bank reporting.
• Preparing and organising audit documents, following up on outstanding items, and overseeing the annual and mid-year audit process for the company and its schemes.
• Providing the Retirement Scheme Administrators with a daily report on fees, ensuring all fees are collected accurately and in a timely manner, and following up on any outstanding balances.
• Assist with preparation and support of regulatory reporting throughout the year.
• Adhering to deadlines and ensuring conformance with turnaround times, policies, procedures, licence conditions, and regulatory standards.
• Manage projects and routine tasks given by the Senior Finance Executive.
• Assisting General Manager, Finance Department and other Departments in ad-hoc projects and tasks.
Requirements:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent business writing skills.
• Experience with client databases and strong Excel skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative, manage multiple tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
• A team player with the ability to support colleagues in achieving the finance team’s goals.
• Pension, funds, or insurance experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
