Senior Finance & Treasury Manager

Our client in the Banking Industry, is looking to recruit a Senior Finance and Treasury Manager to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Head of Finance and Treasury and CEO on a daily basis 
• Handling up to management accounts 
• Managing and monitoring the audit process
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual budgets and forecasting 
• Monitoring the bank's financial performance compared to benchmarks and targets 
• Monitoring and controlling the quality of financial data, to ensure improvements are made 
• Handling financial reports and projections for risk and compliance matters 
• Supporting in projects related to feasibility studies and pricing studies 
• Handling the compilation of Tax and VAT
• Leading a team and supporting with day to day running of the department 

• A minimum of 4 years of local experience in a similar role
• Accounting role in the banking sector would be considered an asset
• Excellent command of Maltese and English

• Degree in Accounting or Fully Qualified ACCA
