Senior Client Accountant

We are seeking an Accountant based in Malta to join a dynamic and expanding team in a corporate service provider. The successful candidate will work with a predominantly international client base across a variety of industries, as well as private clients. 

This role is well suited for anyone looking to broaden their experience and take on a rewarding new challenge. Experience in the yachting and marine sector will be considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records
• Prepare financial and management reports
• Train, supervise, and support junior accounting staff
• Handle VAT returns and related VAT compliance requirements
• Prepare corporate income tax computations and returns
• Manage a diversified portfolio of client companies
• Report regularly to management

Requirements

• Fully qualified and warranted Accountant
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Maltese is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Residing in Malta (required)

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
