Senior Auditor

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include:

* Conduct external audits for a variety of clients across multiple industries to ensure compliance with Maltese and international financial reporting standards

* Lead engagements to audit clients' financial statements and assess financial controls, operational processes, and compliance with tax laws

* Prepare and present detailed audit reports to stakeholders, outlining findings, recommendations, and areas for improvement

* Liaise with client management to discuss audit findings and consult on financial best practices

* Supervise and mentor junior audit staff and manage audit teams to ensure quality and timeliness of audit deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or the ACCA qualification and have the CPA certification.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Applicants must be in possession of a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in external auditing.

The ideal candidate must:

* Have strong knowledge of IFRS and Maltese GAAP
