Senior Accounts Payable Executive

We are working with an international client who are looking to add a Senior Accounts Payable Executive to manage the growing work load.

What you'll be doing

• Lead, train, and mentor the Accounts Payable team while fostering a collaborative work environment
• Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, payments, and reconciliations
• Monitor Accounts Payable aging reports, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely supplier payments
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and support accurate financial planning
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing, reporting, and bank reconciliation reviews
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and compliance
• Drive process improvements, including automation initiatives and policy development to enhance efficiency and controls

Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of NetSuite will be considered an asset

Education and Experience

• 3-4 years of experience in accounts payable role
• Having experience working in hospitality sector would be considered an asset
