Senior Accountant (gaming)

Our client, a gaming company is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to oversee and manage the finance function. The selected candidate will have one person reporting to him/her and the following responsibilities: 

• Participating and preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• Coordinating and preparing for external audits.
• Preparing tax reports and their submissions to the filing authorities 
• Participating in the ongoing accounting processes
• Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls
• Working hand in hand with the finance team and other departments based overseas
• Supervising one junior team member and acting as back-up when required
• Participating in the consolidation process and preparing quarterly management accounts
• Intercompany re-charging 
• Any other duty which may be required from time to time in relation to cash management and treasury 

• Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role within the gaming industry
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
• Possess excellent intrapersonal skills
• Hold excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• A fully qualified and warranted accountant
