Senior Accountant (Fully-Remote based in Malta)

Our client within recruitment is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a fully Remote basis.

The main Responsibilities are to :

• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain and update accounting records and systems.
• Raising sales invoices and ensuring that sales are billed correctly.
• Proper upkeep of company's spreadsheets.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Prepare Management Accounts as necessary.
• Manage the budgeting processes to monitor, control, approve and evaluate costs, revenues and cash flows.
• Liaise with external auditors and other relevant stakeholders.
• Liaising with external accountants in different jurisdictions for branch accounting and payroll purposes.
• Assisting in the preparation of payroll in Malta as well as in other Jurisdictions.
• Preparation and submissions of Engagement & Terminations Forms with Jobsplus.
• Preparation and submissions of FS3,FS4,FS5,FS7.
• Train and supervise team members.
• Any ad-hoc duties delegated accordingly

• Familiarity with Adoo financial and accounting software will be considered as an asset but not a requirement
• Ability to work independently and remotely

• An ACCA qualification or equivalent
