Senior Accountant
A well established Corporate Services Provider is looking for a Senior Accountant to work for one of their big clients operating in the Retail sector.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining up to date accounting records up to trial balance stage
- Posting of invoices
- Completing day to day bookkeeping
- Carrying out bank reconciliations
- Processing VAT returns
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
- Ensuring Debtors and Creditors are in line with the credit terms
- Chasing such debtors
- Assisting to ad-hoc queries and tasks as instructed from management
- Preparation of Payroll and work permits
- Prepare the finalisation pack for the companies within the same group
Requirements
- Previous local experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in both Maltese and English language is required
- Having a Maltese driver’s license would be considered an asset
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of work
