Are you a passionate and motivated Accountant looking for a fantastic opportunity? We are looking for an accountant to take charge of building an in-house accounting department as Head of Accounts.

What’s expected of you?

• Balancing bank statements and reconciling accounts
• Compiling financial data for management, auditors, tax authorities, and regulators
• Generating meticulous monthly-end reports.
• Delivering impeccable support to both internal and external clients
• Playing a pivotal role in developing comprehensive financial statements
• Ensuring a seamless transfer of trial balance data into financial statements
• Meticulously handling trust and company accounts in full compliance with relevant legislation
• Conducting rigorous annual reviews for entities with prepared accounts.
• Collaborating closely with auditors to address their inquiries
• Managing VAT and tax computation duties to guarantee compliance with tax regulations and optimize the firm's financial strategies
• Providing essential administrative support for day-to-day accounts

What are you expected to bring?

• A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in Malta in a similar role
• Fully qualified as an Accountant in Malta
• Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
