Our client within Financial Services is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.
The main responsibilities are to :
- Perform quarterly closing activities, quality assurance and financial reporting according to groupwide reporting requirements under IFRS.
- Prepare the compilation of financial statements as well as quarter-end and annual reports for local reporting purposes according to IFRS
- Prepare and quality assure tax returns (Corporate Tax, VAT)
- Support, monitor and strengthen tax reporting and tax compliance processes to continually control for and mitigate financial and tax related reporting risks
- Liaise professionally with tax advisors, external auditors and central divisions at group level to enable smooth and efficient processes
- Other accounting and/or reporting duties and assignments
- Project work as assigned by management
- Team player
- Previous experience working in an Insurance company will be considered an Asset
- An ACCA qualification or equivalent
- Hybrid working
