Risk and Finance Officer

Our client within the banking industry is looking for a Risk and Finance Officer to join their small team 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the financial risk analysis for new loans as part of the loan approval process 
• Preparing period reports on the several financial risks for submission to the Board of Directors.
• Assisting the Financial Controller in the capturing of data in the core banking system.
• Handling and analysis of Transactions 
• Managing the bank accounts and reconciliation
• Analysis of variables within the market
• Revision of the balance sheet
• Deal with various authorities about various loan jurisdictions  

• Work experience with a financial services company in the risk or finance areas is considered an asset
• Attention to detail
• Organised and highly motivated
• Fluent in the Maltese language

• Ideally MQF Level 5 (diploma level) in book-keeping/accounting or risk management.
• Someone with a Degree in B.Com will be given a more senior role
