Payments Officer

Our client in the Fintech industry is looking to recruit a Payments Officer who will report directly to the Payments Operations Manager. The responsibilities of this role are as follows:

Responsibilities

• Assist with the processing of all operational payments 
• Processing and monitoring operational payments
• The reviewing of settlements and authorizations
• Monitoring and processing of ticket systems and ticket queries
• Investigations of cards and funding accounts
• Assisting in chargeback processing and disputes
• Assist Payment Operations manager in dispute logging and processing

• Previous experience in a similar role would be considered an asset, however not a requirement
• Experience in fraud or chargebacks
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft excel
• SQL querying language experience
• Additional experience in fraud or chargebacks will be considered an asset

• Qualification in Business and IT, Accounting or Finance
