Night Auditor

Reporting to the Front Office Manager and under the supervision of the Night Manager, the Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s end-of-day processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining operational efficiency during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and reconcile daily transactions, ensuring all postings are accurate.

• Balance accounts and complete the end-of-day closure process.

• Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, and audit reports to relevant hotel departments.

• Assist guests with inquiries, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring a high level of customer service.

• Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

• Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth night operations.

• Perform additional relevant tasks as assigned to support the Front Office and Night Team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Front Office, Reception, or Night Audit within a hotel environment. 

• Strong knowledge of Opera PMS. 

• Good understanding of hotel accounting procedures and revenue reconciliation. 

• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. 

• Ability to work independently during night shifts. 

• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage. 

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. 

• Pleasant personality with a passion for hospitality and the ability to anticipate guests' needs.
