Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa is currently looking to recruit a Night Auditor to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
Under the direction of the Front Office Manager, the Night Auditor will operate and ensure the hotel's end-of-day closure and supervise the night shift.
Responsibilities:
Conduct the night audit process and check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
Verify that accurate room status counts are taken at the proper times and that the information is relayed to those concerned
Maintain continuous contact with Hotel Guests to ensure that any problems or guest challenges are quickly, efficiently, and courteously
Ensure prompt, efficient, and courteous reception of guests
Communicate and recording of complaints
Assist in training new staff members, coach them, and monitor their performance
Ensure the desk is covered at all times
Have full awareness of the current daily status of the Hotel
Ensure smooth handover to the morning shift.
Requirements:
Have previous similar experience within a 5-star hotel environment
Able to speak in English and another European language
Have excellent communication skills
Be able to address guests' needs and demands
Have an eye for detail and a smart appearance
Be a team player
Flexible with working hours including nights and weekends.
