Management Accountant

A group of companies operating within various industries are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and assisting with managing the team

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily accounting operations
• Supporting and assisting the junior accounts clerks with carrying out their duties up to the trial balance stage
• Issuing monthly management accounts for a group of companies
• Maintaining the accounts payable and preparing reimbursement of expenses
• Ensuring deadlines are being met with regard to repayments of VAT and FSS
• Liaising with the HR and Payroll Departments when it comes to movement or on-boarding of new employees in the accounting team
• Conducting yearly performance reviews of the accounts team, managing/approving vacation leave requests and attending interviews for internal recruitment as necessary
• Other ad hoc duties that may arise from time to time

• At least 2 years of previous local experience doing up to management accounts
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ideally actively studying ACCA or fully-qualified
