Prestige Travel Marketing Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

The Credit Controller is responsible for the entire credit control process, and bill collections, including the consistent application of credit policy. Furthermore, to manage and ensure that the company achieves optimum performance and obtains the required credit targets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all account queries and disputes
  • Manage accounts receivables and guarantee all debtors’ accounts are regularly reconciled
  • Daily review of accounts receivable bookkeeping and monitor incoming payment
  • Accountable for Ageing of Debtors and sustaining the same under control
  • Ensuring prompt, accurate and effective system for billing of current and aged accounts
  • Responsible for assisting the debtor’s ledger with regular analysis of the aged accounts
  • Ensuring prompt, accurate and effective system for billing of current and aged accounts
  • Manage credit processes and policies for other departments 
  • Ensure the efficiency of all charges and credits to the various accounts, and they are correctly posted on a timely basis
  • Ensure the appropriate credit collections of all outstanding payments
  • Follow up on all overdue accounts and send to debt collectors, as required
  • Monitor any unallocated payments from guests/customers and implement the same with future bills
  • Auditor credit limits of all outstanding accounts
  • Review and confirm that all open Paymaster accounts were justified and should comply with company’s policy and procedure
  • Ensure that all credit applications are correctly documented, approved by the management and are based on company’s policy and procedures
  • Work with the Financial Controller to build productive working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Collaborating with managers to ensure that all associated accounting requirements are adhered to under established procedures/timelines
