Junior Accountant

Our client a well established company in Malta is looking for a Junior Accountant to assist the Group CFO 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
• Process accounting entries and support month-end and year-end activities.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
• Monitor expenses and help maintain accurate financial records.
• Support audit preparations and provide documentation when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties on day-to-day finance matters.
• Assist with process improvements and other ad hoc accounting tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous local experience in a similar role

Education and Experience

• ACCA Qualified of in the process to being fully qualified
