Job Description

A client of ours operating in the Banking sector is looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their growing team:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the testing and uploading of the yearly Final Withholding tax report on the IRD’s portal.

• Responsible for the monthly Final Withholding Tax reporting.

• Monthly Final Withholding Tax report, Loans and deposits by Unit report.

• Management accounts by Unit.

• Preparing the accruals and prepayments and variance analysis.

• Daily reconciliation of Accounts against General Ledger.

• Daily loans and deposits statistics and revaluation reserve reporting.

• Supplier payments and/or refunds to staff as necessary.

• Uploading of budgets on the core banking system of the Bank.

Requirements

Previous local experience in accounting
Fluency in written and spoken English
A good knowledge of MS excel and Word
An eye for details and willing to learn

Education and Experience

Actively studying ACCA
