Head of Finance

Our client operating within the Healthcare industry is currently on the lookout for a Head of Finance to join their team

Duties include: 

• Manage and oversee day-to-day financial operations
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, through guidance and mentorship
• Generate monthly management accounts in line with accounting standards
• Work closely with the team to establish and maintain further financial policies and procedures for the company
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
• Research and analyse financial reports in line with market trends
• Oversee cash flow management
• Oversee taxation and liaison with external firms for advice
• Seek out methods for minimising financial risk for the company
• Liaise with auditors for the preparation of the audited financial reports
• Oversee and participate in general management functions, including management meetings, the recruitment of team members, and the handling of the company’s performance management process for the finance team.

• Minimum of 5 years of local Accounting experience in Retail
• Ambitious individual, with an appetite for personal growth
• Organised and methodical approach
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

• Fully Qualified and Warranted by the Malta Institute of Accountants
