Group Chief Financial Officer

A highly reputable client of ours specialising and operating in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and international wholesale sectors is looking to onboard a Group CFO to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

• Taking overall responsibility for the planning and implementation of all financial aspects of the Group’s business strategy and performance across its entire operations
• Developing funding and capital-raising strategies to drive expansion whilst ensuring financial sustainability, risk management and cash flow
• Analysing and monitoring Group financial and operational data/intelligence and advising the CEO, General Managers and Board of Directors to influence and drive business strategy and planning
• Keeping abreast and advising the Group on relevant international legal, banking or regulatory developments and the macro-economic landscape in which the Group operates
• Managing risks and developing strategies to avoid or adapt to revenue stream disruptions
• Developing new and existing relationships with Banking and other Financial Institutions in which the Group operates or plans to operate
• Monitoring and keeping abreast of the financial performance of competitors, suppliers, partners and collaborators – both actual and potential
• Working closely with the Group Financial Officer, leading and mentoring the Group’s professional teams of accountants across all subsidiaries and jurisdictions.

• Must have C-level or senior managerial experience in financial roles within multinational corporations
• Experience in the FMCG distribution sector, would be considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtien, in Engish
• Vision to identify and evaluate valid business or financial opportunities
• MUST be willing and available to travel on a regular basis ( monthly or bi monthly) and at short notice when required
