Financial Controller (Horeca)

Our client is a leading company in the hospitality and catering industry.

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to support performance monitoring and management reviews;
• Lead the annual budgeting process and contribute to periodic financial forecasting;
• Prepare cash flow statements and financial reports as required by management;
• Ensure the timely preparation and submission of VAT returns;
• Conduct financial analysis to support new business opportunities and ongoing operations;
• Oversee and strengthen internal financial control procedures;
• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors during statutory audits;
• Monitor debtor balances and oversee credit control procedures, reporting regularly to the Group CFO;
• Supervise and support the accounts team in managing daily cash settlements and receivables;
• Ensure compliance with group policies, accounting standards, and fiscal regulations;
• Propose and implement improvements to finance policies and internal processes;
• Mentor and support the development of the finance team in line with organisational values.

• ACCA qualification or equivalent is mandatory;
• Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role;
• Experience within the hospitality sector or multi-entity environments will be considered an advantage;
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word;
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems will be considered an asset.
