Financial Analyst

Our client within the Manufacturing industry is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their team.

Main responsibilities :

• Assist accountants with month-end reporting, forecast preparation, and the provision of information and ad hoc reports.
• Maintain asset registers and generate reports on stock control.
• Manage and support the standard costing model and process, ensuring accurate data for costing, sales, cost of sales, and other reporting needs.
• Monitor, account for, and report on factory variances as required by the site.
• Track and reconcile intercompany balances.
• Ensure adherence to financial guidelines and internal controls.
• Support the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Verify the accuracy of the Nominal Ledger and reconcile major account balances.

• Strong knowledge and experience in cost accounting.
• Proficient in analytical and financial modeling.

• Partially qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
