Financial Controller

Our client, a leading FMCG Company in Malta is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their growing team.

Main Responsibilities :

• Oversee bank accounts and overdrafts to optimize financial benefits.
• Inform management of external financial or commercial developments affecting operations.
• Prepare and submit financial statements and forecasts.
• Maintain relationships with banks and insurers to secure favorable terms.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and internal accounting requirements.
• Prepare budgets and reconcile financial discrepancies.
• Maintain effective financial controls and documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely statutory payments.
• Oversee cheque payments and petty cash management.
• Ensure efficient office operations, communication, and personnel coordination.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership skills with effective decision-making ability.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Maltese

• Fully Qualified or in the Final stages of the interview process
